I am a licensed clinical social worker, in Connecticut and New York. I work with clients who are in crisis, struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD and other mental health issues. I also work with clients who are making life/career transitions, experiencing pre and post-divorce issues and relationship issues.
I have agency experience working with adult individuals and groups as they navigate the demands of their personal lives, and the mental health issues that can arise and be impacted by those demands.
I also have experience working with victims/survivors of domestic violence (i.e., physical, verbal, emotional, sexual, financial and technology abuse) who suffer from trauma, anxiety, PTSD and other mental health issues.
In addition to my experience in social work, I have eighteen years’ experience as an executive recruiter in the finance industry. My recruiting experience has given me a unique perspective on the relationship between job satisfaction and mental health. I understand the impact that career change and loss of job can have on self-esteem, confidence, and overall mental health.
I am certified as a counselor in domestic violence. I have also completed continuing education seminars, including but not limited to, trauma and trauma-informed care, trauma-focused cognitive-behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy.
